Starting and finishing in St. James’s Park with Buckingham Palace as a backdrop, the Bupa 10,000m run follows an anti-clockwise route around the City of Westminster and the City of London. Runners pass many of London’s famous sights, including Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The London Eye, Cleopatra’s Needle, Tate Gallery, the Monument and St. Paul’s Cathedral, and run on the 2012 Olympic route.
