St Mary's Chapel, Snape Castle
Heritage Open Day: Aptly described as a hidden jewel, this wonderful chapel reached a short passageway and attached to Snape Castle is guaranteed to delight visitors. Steeped in history and surrounded by romantic ruins both the chapel and the castle were built in the early 15th Century. Enhanced and beautified in 1720, benches were added in 1836 and following a period of neglect the Chapel was restored in 1874.
