Open Doors and Food Fair at Llanfyllin Workhouse
A Heritage Open Day and Food Fair at Llanfyllin's historic Workhouse, Y Dolydd: beautifully situated close to the A490 on the way to Lake Vyrnwy. A chance to see one of Britain's best preserved Victorian workhouses, under restoration by a community trust and home to a range of creative enterprises. The Food Fair will showcase the best in food and drink from Wales and the borders with a wide range of produce and street food available to sample. Live music from Llanfyllin’s Vivace Choir, jazz and cabaret band Café Lola and local harpist John Browne. Newly restored Master’s House on view with displays. Exhibition of art inspired by the locality; print making; open studios. Workhouse History Centre with film. Free entry and parking: donations welcome to the Master’s House Appeal.
