Astrid Sulheim: a folk musician from Lom in Gudbrandsdalen, Astrid is one of Norway’s leading performers on the traditional fiddle and she has achieved a number of first places at the Landskappleik (national folk music competition).
Iselin Anna Aukrust: also from Lom in Gudbrandsdalen, she has immersed herself in the fiddle and vocal music of that area of Norway and is currently studying at the prestigious Ole Bull Academy.
John Ole Morken: a traditional fiddler from Ålen in the Norwegian county of Trøndelag, a music teacher, a writer and a radio presenter. It is Røros Pols, the traditional music of his home district, which is dear to his heart and he often runs courses in the diverse traditions of this distinctive style of music.
Ingeborg Ulberg Sommer: a fiddle-player from Røros who likes to play with the older styles and tonalities of the music from her area. In 2021 she released her album of traditional music from Røros, ‘Attkømmen’, with especial emphasis on the pols and its interpretation.
Vegar & Mette Vårdal: Vegar is a musician (playing both traditional fiddle and Hardanger fiddle), a dancer and a composer, with more than 30 years’ experience of performing and teaching. Vegar & Mette have been teaching Norwegian dances from Gudbrandsdal and Røros
Andrew Parr: has trained as a dancer in Sweden and is also a talented musician.
