On the borders of Somerset, Dorset and Wilshire, just off the A303, Pen Selwood celebrates 63 years of our traditional Village Fete with treats for all. Free activity during afternoon for all ages ~ popular Rhythmic Drums. Local band 'Mustang Sally' return to provide live entertainment. The Barbecue and Beer Tent [offering local guest ales and draught cider] available from noon. Part of a unique collection of Vintage & Classic Cars will thrill visitors all afternoon! Note ~ cars by invitation only due to space restrictions. All your favourites will be there including Books, Bottle Tombola, Cakes, Grand Draw, Plants & Produce, delicious Pen Teas. Browse Pen's amazing White Elephant stalls - Bric-a-Brac, kitchenware, glassware linens, small furniture, tools etc. The popular Pre-loved Clothing returns. Come early to grab the best bargains! The Annual Flower & Produce Show will once again fill the Church with colourful displays.
Fete to be opened at 12.00 noon ~ closes at approximately 5.00pm. Returning for 2017 ~ Children’s Tombola and Crepes. Teas in Village Hall from 12.30pm. Mustang Sally’s first set from about 1.00pm. The Flower & Produce Show opens at 1.00pm. Grand Draw approx 4.15pm. Free entry to Fete Field. Parking available by donation. Wheel chair access to Fete Field & Village Hall, nb 1 step into Church. Please note No Dogs on Field.
