Hampshire Countryside Day returns to the beautiful Bereleigh Estate near Petersfield on Sunday 13 September 2026, bringing together countryside traditions, country sports, family entertainment and local food for a memorable day out in a beautiful setting.
Welcoming families, countryside enthusiasts and dog lovers alike, the event celebrates the people, animals and rural skills that shape Hampshire’s countryside, with a packed programme of demonstrations, competitions, hands-on activities and shopping throughout the day.
Supporting both the Countryside Alliance and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, Hampshire Countryside Day raises funds to help protect rural communities and support life-saving emergency care across the region.

• Gamegoer Gun Dogs demonstrations
• Inter Hunt Scurry relay heats and final
• Terrier (and any other dog) racing
• Hound Parade and meet the hounds with the Hursley Hambledon and Hampshire Hunts and the Palmer, Marlborough and Clinkard Meon Beagles
• Trail Hunting Demo from the Hursley Hambledon Hunt
• Fly-fishing demos from experts Charles Jardine and Gilly Bate

Food, Drink & Shopping: Visitors browse more than 100 trade stands featuring crafts, country clothing, countryside equipment and gifts. Local food and drink will be available throughout the day, alongside a licensed bar serving ales, cider, lager and soft drinks.
