Rothwell Temperance Band
Rothwell Temperance is a relatively young band. Formed in 1984, it began contesting in 1989. It quickly made a name for itself at the big contests winning the 2006 International Masters, qualifying for the National Finals in 2008 and winning the 2009 Grand Shield and Yorkshire Area Championship. The band can also be heard at Leeds Town Hall on Thursday 18 December performing in the Lord Mayor’s Carol Concerts.
