Chorley Branch LFHHS - September meeting
September sees the resumption of 'live' meetings, and this evening we welcome Professor Paul Salveson, a visiting professor at the universities of Bolton & Huddersfield.
The talk, entitled Railway Heritage of the North-West will cover how the railway industry influenced North West industry and leisure activities.
We hope to see many returning members, and hopefully some new visitors. Please wear a mask when entering, and walking in public areas.
Anyone who has previously attended will know that the room in which we meet is large, with plenty of space to ensure distance between chairs, and windows will be opened for free flow of air. Hand sanitiser will be available, and we ask that you leave contact details on arrival.
Admission is free to members and non-members, but donations very much appreciated, and application forms to join the Society will be available, please just ask.
If you are interested in family history, come and meet branch members, and find out what membership of the LFHHS offers.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7:30 start. Please note that the doors will have to be closed at 7:40. Free Admission, but donations are always appreciated.
