History Talk - 'A Broughton Rector comes to life - John Benet, the Chronicler'
Calling all history lovers!
A fundraising talk at St Lawrence, Broughton, Milton Keynes, hosted by the Friends of St Lawrence to raise funds towards the care of the church. Two connected talks will tell us about Dunstable's Augustinian Priory which was a Medieval 'dot.com' business, and a second talk will look at John Benet, the Rector of Broughton from 1471 to 1474, who saved a unique record of British and European history for posterity.
