Antiphon, conducted by John Roper, presents a summer evening of music in the delightful setting of Blanchland Abbey.
Programme to include:
Britten – Flower Songs;
Rutter – a selection from The Sprig of Thyme;
Morley – Now is the month of maying;
Stanford – The Blue Bird;
Gershwin – Summertime;
Haydn – The Heavens are telling.
Antiphon is a Hexham-based chamber choir with a broad repertoire ranging from Renaissance to 20th century music.
