Embroiderers’ Guild Bedford branch
Do you like textiles? Would you like to learn some new techniques or just see great work in a friendly setting? Would you love to buy previously loved fabrics, threads, magazines or books at very reasonable prices? You do not have to be an expert needlewoman to enjoy the Embroiderers' Guild.
We meet on the third Thursday each month. Refreshments are served from 7.30pm and the meeting starts properly at 8.00pm.
Tonight we all vote on the entries for the Chairman's challenge, set last October. Bring your small change. We vote with coins and the person with most 'votes' will be the winner with all money donated to her (sadly no male members just now) chosen charity. This year's topic is 'Birds' which should have produced a wide range of interpretations. Tonight we will also find out what the topic for 2019 will be and we'll be 'dabbling' in a technique. Bring your sewing glasses if you need them and want to join
7.30 for 8.00pm Visitors are always welcome and pay £4 per meeting which includes the cost of refreshments. There is free parking.
