Olivier Award-winning company OperaUpClose open the 2017 Northern Aldborough Festival with their new production, set in the Jazz Age, of La Traviata. The story of Violetta, a so-called ‘fallen woman’ who sacrifices her own happiness for the sake of her lover’s family and future, La Traviata has been thrilling audiences for generations.
