All welcome to come and enjoy our Community Garden, run by volunteers & worked on organic gardening principles. Event goes ahead whatever the weather: in the open barn or polytunnel if cold or wet & outdoors if fine. Garden access is officially via the bridlepath off the Cambridge Road. However, for events, the owners of Church Farm are happy for visitors to take a short cut straight through the farm at the end of Church Street (left of the March Hare Pub in the centre of the village, signs up on the day). You will see the polytunnel and entrance to the garden on your left. Vehicle access & parking for blue badge holders is also via this route. Please note for wheelchairs, the ground is uneven and the terrain is mainly grass. Cyclists welcome. Water bottles can be refilled & most helpers have been briefed to offer you your first drink free. Toilet on site. Pets welcome on a lead. Our next garden coffee mornings are Sats 14th Oct and 18th Nov 2017. Halloween event Sun 29th Oct.
Free entry. Starts from 10.30am and finishes approx. 12.00pm. Donations for drinks & cakes plus raffle proceeds will all go to Macmillan charity. Garden produce, jams and chutneys will be on sale to raise funds for the garden with a contribution to Macmillan. For children, there’s lots to explore, plus there are always drawing materials available and digging implements/garden toys. www.facebook.com/dunton.communitygarden duntongarden.org/
