Goostrey Rose Festival
Goostrey Rose Festival founded in 1905 is the biggest village carnival in Cheshire and is a celebration of children and young people.
Held on the last Saturday in June, it starts with a 1.5 mile float procession through the village, The crowning of the Rose Queen in the regal setting of the school playing field, followed by a fun packed day full of activities, stalls and events to be enjoyed by one and all, whether as a participant or spectator.
