Conductor Edward Peak and Orchestra dell’Arte continue their journey through the world of music with their next concert in their fourth series as Orchestra-in-Residence at the magnificent St George’s Hall in Liverpool. Liverpool has been awarded the honour UNESCO Creative City of Music. Together with other international Creative Cities Liverpool has formed a unique scheme to enable emerging artistes to have an international platform early in their careers. For this first concert in the UNESCO series we welcome pianist Pietro Fresa from Bologna, Italy (a partner Creative City) to play Beethoven's Third Piano Concerto. The orchestra will also perform Coriolan Overture and Schubert's melodious Symphony No 2. Conductor, Edward Peak will talk to the audience in his inimitable style about the music being played and about real life in orchestras.
