THE HOUSE BUILT ON SAND (part 2 of our “Strong Delusion” series). Jesus Christ told a story about two men, one built his house on a rock, and the other on sand. The house on the rock survived the storm, but the other was destroyed. Many assume the one who built on the rock was a Christian, and the other was not. But if we read it correctly, the house on the sand is actually a picture of a false kind of Christianity that does not really obey the Gospel. The Bible warns of a coming storm—a judgement—that will severely test the house of God. The house of those who do not obey the Gospel will not stand! Jesus Christ’s Kingdom is already being established in the hearts of true believers. And He is coming to judge all false professions of faith, and establish His Kingdom over true Israel, and over the earth. Obey the Gospel—“Repent, and be baptised every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2 verse 38).
