Newbury Chamber Choir

The Newbury Chamber Choir gives three concerts a year. The choir’s concerts have spanned several centuries of music - from the 13th to the 21st. We are a committed group of singers who enjoy performing a wide range of classical music.
The choir performs with professional players, and gives valuable opportunities to young students and up-coming artists.
We are...a vibrant mixture of about 36 adults, of all ages, from many different walks of life, with a shared love of making good-quality music together. Most of our members are experienced in choral singing, and are quite good sight-right-readers. We hold no auditions because we want to maintain our policy of openess to all but ask that new members join us on a mutual trial. Rehearsals on Tuesdays at 7.45pm at St Nicolas School, Link Road, Newbury RG14 7LY.
