The Nature Discovery Centre

The Nature Discovery Centre is a great family day out!

There are two playgrounds aimed at different age groups, lakeside walks and duck feeding in the cooler months.

You can walk to the canal from the centre and the reedbeds, home of some very rare species are also part of this wildlife reserve.

The Lakeside Café serves hot and cold snacks and delicious homemade cake, which you can eat indoors or on our lakeside terrace and enjoy the fantastic views while you relax.

It’s also a rainy day destination, with activity stations around the centre and lots of books and toys to keep the little ones amused.

There is onsite parking, toilets including accessible facilities both inside and out and a picnic area.
