Diatonic Choir

Diatonic was formed in 1987 by a group of enthusiastic singers who wanted to perform a wide range of works for mixed choir. Their director of music is Bernard Sutton. Diatonic’s aims are to promote live music and to raise money for charity.
The choir has a varied repertoire, consisting of early music, anthems, larger classical works, madrigals, folk songs and popular songs. They regularly give concerts in the Warwick and Leamington Spa area and have often joined with Oriana Singers from Gloucestershire to tour in Spain, France and Germany, most recently visiting Prague and Barcelona. In the Summer they enjoy singing madrigals and part songs at the National Trust property Baddesley Clinton.
Diatonic celebrated their 30th anniversary with a concert in St Nicholas Church Warwick in April 2018, when they sang Handel's Messiah part 2. You can see a video of the Hallelujah Chorus at www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0lUJi4eLmg
