Chelmsford Male Voice Choir

Who are we?

We are a group of male singers of a wide age range and rehearse from 7.30pm on Tuesday evenings at
Trinity Methodist Church
46 Rainsford Rd,

Variety is the hallmark of our concert performances and our repertoire ranges widely, from choral works to arrangements of ‘pop’ classics and songs from the shows.

The origins of Chelmsford Male Voice Choir (CMVC) can be traced back to the Boer War when the choir first sang to raise funds for British troops. The choir currently has over 60 members who are proud to wear the crest of the City of Chelmsford.

In 2015 the Choir became a registered charity, the aims of which are to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in the appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects.

These aims are achieved primarily by performing concerts, raising worthwhile funds for good causes.

Just pop along to a rehearsal or email secretary@cmvchoir.co.uk for more information.
