National Trust Charlecote Park

A Victorian home, set in a landscaped deer park, nestled on the banks of the river Avon.

There are over 280 acres of parkland to explore at Charlecote Park, a home and habitat haven to wild animals. There are free-roaming Jacob sheep and 4 types of fallow deer to spot as you walk through the parkland.

Explore 900 years of history in the Gatehouse and wonderfully preserved outbuildings which include a Laundry, Brewhouse, Carriage Collection, Tackroom, Victorian Kitchen and Scullery.

The house is open on weekend mornings only at the moment, while a huge conservation project takes place inside.

Pack up a picnic to enjoy by the river or pop into the cafe for a light bite or an ice cream. Drop into the second hand bookshop to pick up a good read, or stop by the shop (just behind the Victorian Kitchen) to browse a selection of gifts. On the way out, head through Avenue Plants for a wide range of gardening goodies.

Dogs are welcome on short leads around the designated dog walking route.
