Community Alliance Broxbourne and East Herts

We are a local charity to Broxbourne and East Herts and are based in Stanstead Abbotts.

We support local voluntary organisations, empower community groups, build local partnerships and improve residents’ lives. We operate in four areas which are Engaging Residents, Supporting Health and Wellbeing, Helping Groups, and Employment and Skills.

As of October 2022, we are no longer known as CVS for Broxbourne and East Herts (CVSBEH) and are now recognised as Community Alliance Broxbourne and East Herts.

Community Alliance was formed in April 2007 and is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and uphold an Investing in Volunteers Award.

The Charity’s Objects are:

To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community across the regions of the East of England, Southeast, London and East Midlands (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) and, in particular, the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness;
To promote
