Pericles Theatre Company

“This performing company are much loved for producing work for children which simultaneously tickles the funny bone of grownups, and this merry adventure draws every age, from babies to octogenarians” (about 'The Tale of the Pig' in 2015).

Formed in 1999, the award-winning Pericles Theatre Company creates projects with the essential involvement of adults with learning disabilities who are involved in all aspects of the production, from designing and making costumes, masks, props and set through to acting on stage, stage management, fundraising and production.

We believe that we all deserve to shine in what we do and be acknowledged as a valued and respected member of our community. Our productions are full of life, colour and delight.

We work with professionals, amateurs with training, or students in any of the theatre disciplines, and people with learning disabilities.

The Theatre Company is a branch of Roots Collective CIC (Company number 14375207).
