Mottram & District Agricultural Society

Mottram & District Agricultural Society is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run community organisation dedicated to celebrating, supporting, and promoting agriculture and rural life in Mottram and the surrounding district.

Founded to advance agriculture for the public benefit, the Society brings together farmers, producers, craftspeople, exhibitors, and the wider community through a programme of agricultural shows. Our leading events, the annual Mottram Spring Show & Summer Show, showcases livestock, horses, horticulture, crafts, cookery, vintage vehicles, and much more, offering something for all ages.

The Society is run entirely by volunteers who give their time throughout the year to organise events, support exhibitors, and ensure our shows remain welcoming. Whether you are a farmer, competitor, supporter, or first-time visitor, we are proud to offer a space where the local community can come together to learn, compete, and celebrate agricultural life.
