Kids for Kids helps children the world has forgotten, children in Darfur, Sudan, who live lives of inexcusable and unimaginable hardship. By providing an integrated package of sustainable projects which parents tell us will help them the most – projects suitable to the region which have both an immediate, and a long-term impact – we are lifting families out of abject poverty and transforming whole villages.
Our key project is a goat loan because goat’s milk transforms a child’s health and mothers can sell surplus milk and yoghurt at market to earn an income, often for the first time ever. We also build clean water hand pumps, provide basic essentials, healthcare, education and more. We don’t believe in charity, we believe in helping people to help themselves. To date, we have adopted 92 villages across North Darfur and helped nearly 500,000 people in one of the most remote and inaccessible regions of the world. We are adopting eight more villages in 2019 - can you help?!
