Guildford Opera Company

If you looking for something to do to brighten the long winter evenings, why not consider joining Guildford Opera?
We are a warm and welcoming amateur group, with members of all ages and from all walks of life, who come together to sing and perform some of the most beautiful opera music written. We’re always looking for new, enthusiastic singers to join us. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never sung opera before – or never been on the stage before. You’ll soon discover that the whole process is fun and you’ll be hooked!
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 to 10pm at Merrow Methodist Church Hall. The number 7 bus runs from Guildford to Bushy Hill and there is ample parking at the Hall. We are currently rehearsing for our production of Gounod's Faust , which we will be performing at the Electric Theatre on November 22, 24 &25. Next year, our first show, in May, is Verdi's Aida which we will perform in Guildford's Holy Trinity Church.
