Plant Heritage Dorset Group

Plant Heritage (NCCPG) is the UK's leading garden plant conservation group and can trace its origins back to Dorset in 1978. Plant Heritage administers the prestigious National Collections Scheme and its members include amateur gardeners, horticultural students, colleges & professionals plus nursery & garden centre owners.

We organise events, garden visits and specialist plant fairs at Athelhampton House and Abbotsbury Gardens. Membership of the group gives free access to lectures and talks plus entry to the plant fairs. Our monthly meetings involve illustrated talks, plants & sundries sales and are held at the Dorford Centre in Dorchester (7pm for 7.30 start) on the second Thurs, Sept-April. Car parking is free opposite the hall.

Visitors and guests are genuinely welcome to our meetings and talks (Visitors £2.50 and Students just £1.00)
