Music From Shakespeare
To tie in with National Shakespeare Week we have an evening talk with a difference. Tom Hughes Heritage officer will begin by sharing some of the lesser known links with the Bard around Port Sunlight Village, from a replica of Shakespeare's birthplace to the occasions when William Lever quoted the Bard in his addresses.
Then the evening will take a more musical turn as Tom explores the music of Shakespeare's world from the tavern to the stage and from courtly tunes to street ballads... See more >
