Visit Sally Courage, Teresa Munn & Moya Tosh, local ceramic artists, united by a love of the natural world and the organic feel of clay. Sally works with coils of clay to create satisfying forms which evolve as the work grows. Teresa works with text in ceramics, and explores feelings associated with the landscapes of our lives in clay-scripted wall plaques and hand-held textured forms. Moya works in porcelain. Her sculptural pieces reflect the rugged and imperfect elements of the natural world, inspired, in particular, by the gnarled and broken texture of Silver Birch bark. This year the 3 potters have each produced pieces in response to the ancient world, celebrating the 100 years since Carnarvon & Carter discovered Tutankhamun's tomb.
