BELHAVEN HOUSE: has four acres of formal Georgian gardens, a walled vegetable and fruit garden, and a woodland with trees dating from the early 20th century. The garden has been associated with a succession of people interested in plants since the 19th century - being owned for a while by Sir George Taylor, a former director of Kew gardens. There are borders, garden terraces and troughs. Entry to the the garden is through the school playing field.
