FREE taster session with the Newcastle-upon-Tyne/Jesmond Rock Choir

Jesmond United Reformed Church, Burdon Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle-upon-Tyne NE2 3AE If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can! Your friendly local Newcastle-upon-Tyne choir is run by vocal teacher Rob Slater. We support a number of local charities, raising money and awareness around Tyne and Wear and as a choir we also sing together with other Rock Choir singers in the nearby choirs to support national charities such as Sign2sing, British Airways Flying Start and the Edinburgh and London Moonwalk's with flash mobs, fundraising events and performances. Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at Wembley Arena (which we did! - for the ITV1 documentary 'The Choir that Rocks'), there's a place for you in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see what all the fuss is about!
