An interesting collection of gardens that benefit from the shelter of mature trees. The smallest in St Vigeans is a lovely cottage garden with a range of ferns. Visitors may also visit the village museum and church. Balcathie and Cuthlie are larger farmhouse gardens. Both have wonderful old trees under planted with mature shrubs, azalea and rhododendrons.
