The charity was founded locally in 2011 by Olivia Faulkner, after an eye opening gap year project to Tanzania in 2009. Today, Rise Africa UK is on a mission to help children escape a life of poverty through education. The first ‘Art4Africa’ exhibition held in 2016 saw over 40 artists exhibiting their work.
