Higham Scarecrow Festival

11am to 5pm daily. £3.50 per trail map which includes a pen. Higham village and village hall BB12 9EU Come and visit our Higham Scarecrow Festival. Once again the village will be filled with lots of wonderful scarecrows - our theme this year is ‘TV & FILMS’. Judging will take place on Saturday 23rd August. Trail maps will be on sale at the village hall and at the Padiham end of Higham Hall Road at a cost of £3.50 which includes a pen. Completed maps , when handed in , are put into a draw for a possible prize. There is also a children’s trail to be completed. On Saturday, for the first time, we are holding a Fun Dog Show. There are several categories - to enter just register in the village hall on the day before 12 noon. There will be Morris dancing outside the Four Alls Inn on Sunday. Also a farmers market outside church on Monday. As always our popular refreshments will be served in the village hall - hot and cold food and drinks. Not forgetting our wonderful second hand book sale in church each day. It’s a wonderful day out and we look forward to welcoming you back once again. Opening times are 11am until 5pm daily...
