What better way to explore a beautiful landscape than by joining a guided walk led by an experienced and friendly walk leader? They’ve carefully designed each route to showcase the breathtaking scenery, heritage or introducing you to a local producer. Chepstow Walking Festival is a firm favourite on the walker’s calendar. With over 37 guided walks to choose from, the festival offers a perfect mix of well trodden favourites and exciting new routes through the beautiful Lower Wye Valley and beyond. Whether you fancy a gentle stroll or a challenging trek to really stretch your legs, there’s something for everyone. Many walks are dog-friendly, with routes thoughtfully designed to avoid livestock and tricky stiles wherever possible. Plus, you’ll be in great company—walk leaders include both local enthusiasts and expert professionals, ensuring a memorable and insightful experience. Whether you're reconnecting with old friends or new to walking and looking to meet like-minded adventurers, Chepstow Walking Festival is the perfect chance to embrace the great outdoors, uncover stunning landscapes, and enjoy the magic of exploring on foot. Chepstow is an accredited Walkers are Welcome town which is part of a National organisation that aims to provide the best possible walking experience.
