Dolphin Crescent, Gosport PO12 2HE Jazz Cafe are a 5 piece group playing the type of gypsy jazz epitomised by Django Reinhardt and the Quintette du Hot Club de France of the 1930s. Mike Piggott One of the best swing-jazz fiddlers active anywhere and master of the jazz violin showcases his Stephane Grappelli, Joe Venuti and Stuff Smith influences. Backed by guitarist and vocalist Nils Solberg who has performed and recorded with Ralph McTell, Nigel Kennedy, Clare Teal, Fapy Lafertin, Gary Potter and Bryan Ferry. Guitarist Doug Pruden, saxophonist Al Stewart and bassist Trevor Britton complete this accomplished group of highly regarded musicians. Please Note the Bar is card only, NO CASH.
