Get ready for a unique Easter experience! The Roving Canal Traders Association's Great Haywood Easter Floating Market is back from 18th to 21st April 2025, 10am-5pm daily. Narrowboats brimming with hand-made crafts, original artwork, stylish clothes, and delicious culinary delights will line the Trent and Mersey Canal between Haywood Junction and Haywood Lock. Great Haywood, a historic hub on the canal network, owes much of its past to the waterway. The Trent and Mersey Canal, vital for transporting goods in the 18th and 19th centuries, brought prosperity to the area. This Easter, the canal comes alive again with a vibrant marketplace.
