First World Ware presentation-Tales from the dugout

Ian will present a medley of stories about individuals who served during the Great War. During his numerous excursions Ian has stood on the ground where some if not all of these events occurred and will seek to bring to our meeting that sense of being there. Ian has long held an interest in Britain's involvement in 20C world affairs. He led his first battlefield tour in 1998, since which he has guided more than 400 groups on tours to the First World War battlefields, Germany, Poland and the Netherlands. Doors will open at 7:00pm, with the presentation starting at 7:30pm.

The talk is free although a small donation, payable at the door, is encouraged to pay for the running of the branch & to support it’s activities.

Non-WFA members most welcome.
