Ian will present a medley of stories about individuals who served during the Great War. During his numerous excursions Ian has stood on the ground where some if not all of these events occurred and will seek to bring to our meeting that sense of being there. Ian has long held an interest in Britain's involvement in 20C world affairs. He led his first battlefield tour in 1998, since which he has guided more than 400 groups on tours to the First World War battlefields, Germany, Poland and the Netherlands.
