Lavenham Literary Festival

The very popular Lavenham Literary Festival is back! It will take place in various venues in the stunning medieval village of Lavenham on 18-20 November. The Festival opens with our traditional Festival Dinner at The Swan Hotel where the guest speaker is writer and television broadcaster Kate Humble. Speakers over the weekend include politician turned novelist Alan Johnson, historian Tracy Borman, best-selling novelist Rachel Joyce, royalty chronicler Lady Colin Campbell, beloved poet Wendy Cope, controversial biographer Andrew Lownie, nature writer Patrick Barkham, local author Kate Sawyer, novelist turned doctor Roopa Farooki and thriller writer Simon Edge.
