Their programme appropriately includes the delicious Summer Music by Samuel Barber, an arrangement of Mozart’s Andante for a Waltz, and a recent Aldeburgh Festival commission for them by star composer Cheryl Frances-Hoad, intriguingly named Blue Cheese and Olive Oil... London-based wind quintet Ensemble Renard brings together five of the UK’s most outstanding young musicians. Travelling to all corners of the UK, from London to the Hebrides, every concert is tailored to its audience. By curating compelling and contrasting programmes, Ensemble Renard demonstrates the kaleidoscopic versatility of the ensemble.
