Bedford Sinfonia and East Beds Chamber Choir Out and About Concert

Church of St Edmund or St. James, Park Lane, Blunham MK44 3NQ Bedford Sinfonia are joined by East Bedfordshire Chamber Choir for their summer “Out and About” concert series which aims to take high quality music to the villages & towns of Bedfordshire. There is a choice of two venues and dates. The first is on Sunday 30th June, 3pm at St Edmund’s or St James’ Church in Blunham (just North of Sandy). The second concert is on Sunday 7th July, 3pm at St Andrew’s Church, Biggleswade. The programme, lasting a little over an hour, includes the triumphant Dettingen Te Deum, written by Handel to celebrate victory at the battle of that name, Stanford’s Three Latin Motets and J S Bach’s Orchestral Suite No 3 in D which includes the well-known Air on a G string...
