Bere Mill, Whitchurch RG28 7NH Garden built around early C18 mill on idyllic isolated stretch of the River Test, east of Whitchurch. Gardens have been built incrementally over 30 yrs with extensive bulb planting; herbaceous and Mediterranean borders with magnolia, irises, and tree peonies; summer and autumn borders; a traditional orchard and two small arboretums, one specialising in Japanese shrubs and trees.
