A fantastic opportunity to start a project, leave it overnight and return the next day to carry on, with the help and guidance from the tutor, on this 3 full days block of sewing classes (6 hours per day). Join Pippa to get to know your sewing machine, start that project or maybe get one finished. Pippa is on hand to get you over the tricky bits so that you don't get too frustrated or confused. She'll explain what that odd looking machine foot is for and demonstrate those tricky techniques as they come up. Translating sewing instructions has become a mainstay in her classes putting the technical into plain language. Sewing is a visual thing and although notes will be available for some techniques, the practical act will be more used. You will need to supply your own machine, pattern and fabric. If you're just starting out, Pippa will lead you through the basics by completing a simple project like a cushion cover or something similar.
