An inspiring and daring weekend workshop acrylic painting. On this two day weekend workshop we will inspired by Freds painting Style and how he paints landscapes. Fred started his landscape painting journey being inspired by the Fens which he is very well known for. He then started painting the flow country in the far north of Scotland. Then he moved onto painting the North Norfolk Coast and currently switches between each of the three very different landscapes. Fred Ingrams fell in love with the fens, the low lying swathe of agricultural land on the east coast of England, stretching from Norfolk to Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. He paints the fertile black earth, the abandoned nineteenth century pump rooms, the purple potato fields and the chicken sheds that cling to the shifting soil; with vivid colour and straight lines, his paintings draw your eye along shadowy dykes towards expansive horizons.
