Lino Cut Workshop with Sue Welfare

10am till 4pm, £115 per person Norfolk Creative Arts, 71 Gayton Road, Grimston, Norfolk PE32 1BG Includes a basic Lino printing tool pack for you to take away. This one day workshop will be informal and relaxed. We'll be working in a single colour - most usually black and white, but there will be other colours to experiment with. We'll be using light, shade, line and texture to develop and explore our print ideas. All specialist materials and tools are provided but participants are asked to bring along some basic drawing equipment (pencil, eraser, ruler) and wear either old clothes or an old shirt or an apron to protect clothing. Printing is inevitably messy! If you have any inspirational images or ideas you would like to develop as prints please bring them along too. Sue will also provide some starting points for print ideas. No previous experience is necessary. A home cooked lunch and all refreshments are included.
