5 mile run for Sue Ryder on the longest day in the loveliest of places
The Solstice Saunter is a 5 mile run on the trails of the breath-taking Bolton Abbey Estate raising funds for Sue Ryder. The event, sponsored by the Ecology Building Society will take place on the longest day, Monday 21st June 7:30pm.
Whilst most participants come to Bolton Abbey to take part, virtual entry (where participants run a 5 mile route of their own choice on the longest day) is also available and virtual runners are sent their bespoke medal in advance to wear with pride after their Saunter.
Every participant is chip timed but whether you run, jog or saunter participants who choose the applicable entry ticket receive a well deserved bespoke Solstice Saunter medal. With the help of our headline sponsor the Ecology Building Society our event is free of single use plastic bottles.
