£6, £20, £30 St Mary Le Strand WC2R 1ES St Mary le Strand (The Jewel of the Strand) plays host to the second Strand International Piano Series.  Further to its launch to great acclaim in the 2022-23 season, the new series will feature all 32 of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas. London's most intimate concert venue boasts stunning architecture, beautiful acoustics and a brand new Steinway concert grand piano. Pianist Caroline Tyler Programme  Tyler: Sky Prelude & Lullaby  Beethoven: Sonata no 19 in G minor Liszt: Concert Etude: Un Sospiro Smetana: Concert Etude: On The Seashore Prokofiev: Piano Sonata no 2 in D minor Beethoven: 6 Ecossaises Award-winning concert pianist Caroline Tyler has performed at many prestigious venues including the Barbican Hall in London, the Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham and the Martinu Concert Hall in Prague. Since the pandemic hit, Caroline has focused on new projects: writing more piano music including a commission for the Piano Exam Pieces published by ABRSM for 2023-24, and featuring as the first 'door' in an online Advent Calendar performing her virtuosic arrangement of Silent Night, shared in BBC Music Magazine, with her arrangement of Away in a Manger also featured.  Caroline started Composify, a new musical gift service which takes the letters of a name or message and transforms them into notes, creating unique personalised compositions as gifts, which are also miniature pieces of music in their own right.
