In 2024 the Deal Festival is going BIG with more events than ever before. Classical music will offer something for everyone, from favourites such as Bach’s complete Brandenburg concertos to new music in practically every concert. Our festival theme of French Connections links our events with special guest artists from France, a dedicated mini-French film series and French music galore. There will be the chance for young people and families to experience music and theatre inside an inflatable Whale, to take part in dance events, family concerts and workshops for early years. Video game and film music can be heard LIVE in our opening concert and mythical figures from King Arthur to Dracula will grace our Astor stage offering a treat for all ages. Bands, Jazz, Folk and World music can be soaked up across the festival at the Lighthouse Pub, in a special collaboration with the Smugglers Festival/Record Shop over two evenings and for free throughout the town as part of the Town Takeover.
