Pit your wits against the challenges of nature – can you hone your bushcraft skills to survive in the wild? Our fully trained tutors will help teach you the necessary skills including shelter building, fire-lighting and wild food cookery. This family course is an ideal follow-on course if you have attended our Minibeasts, Mice and Mole course in the past or if you have slightly older family who like an outdoor challenge. Activities will include fire lighting, campfire art, skills and wild food cookery, shelter building, survival orienteering, animal tracks and signs, small mammal traps and much more. The course will be taught by our tutors all greatly experienced at delivering high quality education to family groups. All food, activities and accommodation are provided allowing you all to enjoy a long weekend break. The course is suitable for families with children aged 7 – 11 years.
