St Margaret's Hospice Earth Day Event

Free , 11.00-14.00 The Academy, St Margarets Hospice, Heron Drive Taunton TA1 5HA Welcome to the St Margaret's Hospice Green Group 'Earth Day Drop In Event', Monday 22nd April 2024, in the academy at St Margarets Hospice, Heron Drive, Taunton TA1 5HA, between 11.00-14.00. We do have limited parking, but the college and park and ride car park are both within walking distance, as well as on road parking The event is held annually, and we are delighted to be able to invite our local community to pop in and find out what we are implementing as a hospice to become more environmentally friendly, and to visit other information stalls to find out what is happening locally, and browse some eco - gifts. In partnership with Somerset Council Fixy Scheme, we will also be accepting donation of 'old tech' such as mobiles, laptops. computers etc, which they wipe clean of date and refurbish for distribution to families in need. As well as our own information, we have a a variety of companies joining us - : Wessex Water ~ West Somerset Wildways Project~ Somerset County Council Waste Partnership ~ Eco Green Partners ~ Fixy Scheme ~ and environmentally friendly shopping with Teresa Nikloc ,Eco Cherry Stone Pillows ~and Julie Swinnerton with Recycled Crafts and Gifts.
